Mackie began his career as a sketch artist for a French haute Couture Designer and Costume Maker Jean Louis, later worked with the legendary Edith Head. He is probably best known for his Spectacular Gowns for Singers like Diana Ross, Cher and Countless Others. In his "JOSEPHINE", we see a noticeably Undressed Josephine Baker. Baker, born in America, became a 1920's Singing Sensation. She Moved to France to Further her Career and Became the Top Singer in Europe. She also Worked for the French Resistance During the Second World War in France. The Legendary Baker died in 1975.
